Terms of use and sale
The rules for using Scaled and subscribing to Pro. Last updated: 21 October 2026.
1. Who we are

2. The service
Scaled is an online GRE preparation site: full practice tests, practice questions with explanations, vocabulary, essays and a study plan. GRE® is a registered trademark of ETS. Scaled is not endorsed or approved by ETS. Scores shown are estimates; they do not predict or guarantee any result on the real test.
3. Your account
You create your account yourself, with a real e-mail address. It is personal: sharing it, or copying, publishing or reselling the content, is not allowed and can lead to the account being closed.
4. Free plan and Pro
The Free plan costs nothing and has no time limit: the full diagnostic: Mock 01, every section, real timing, with your score report and study plan; 65 practice questions, every one explained; 200 of the most frequent GRE words; the method guide and 120 Quant formulas. Pro opens everything (every mock, every question, every word and every essay prompt) for €29 per month ([to be completed]). Pro is a subscription: it renews automatically every month until you cancel it. A promo code entered at payment lowers the price as the code says.
5. Payment and cancellation
Pro is paid by card (or Apple Pay / Google Pay) through Stripe, at the start and then every month; Stripe e-mails a receipt each time. You can cancel at any time from your account ("Manage subscription"): Pro stays open until the end of the month already paid, and nothing more is charged. A month that has started is not refunded, except where the law requires it. If the price ever changes, you are told by e-mail at least 30 days before; the new price applies from the next renewal, and you can cancel before it.
6. Right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase, without giving a reason. Pro gives access to digital content right away: before paying, you ask for it to start immediately and confirm (a box to tick) that you lose the right of withdrawal once it has started, as EU and Spanish consumer law allow. If something goes wrong in the first days, write to us anyway: we look at every request.
7. Content
All questions, explanations, texts, design and software of Scaled belong to its publisher. You may use them for your own preparation only, inside the site.
8. Availability and liability
We do our best to keep the site available and the content correct, and fix reported errors quickly. The site may be briefly unavailable for maintenance. Our liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the last 12 months, except where the law does not allow this limit.
9. Closing an account
You can delete your account from your account page at any time; a Pro subscription is then cancelled at once. We may close an account that breaks these terms, after saying why, and refund the unused part of the current month.
10. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live, and you can bring a dispute before the courts of your place of residence. If there is a problem, write to us first: most issues are solved quickly. 11. Changes
If these terms change, you are told by e-mail or on the site before the new version applies. The version in force on the day you subscribe applies to that subscription until its next renewal.
